Open Access Policy

An open access policy is implemented based on the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) rules in the Turkish Journal of Diabetes Nursing (Tjdn).

According to the BOAI, as "open access" we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

All articles published in Tjdn are open from the date of publication and no fee is requested from those who want to download the articles.

Our journal approves the Creative Commons Attribution License (Attribution - Non Commercial - No Derivatives 4.0 International CC BY-NC-ND)"license for all published articles.

**Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restriction.**
By submitting to this journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the work under this license.

Self-Archiving Policy/Repository Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit the final published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, personal websites, or academic networks such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or Zenodo. No embargo is applied. This is in accordance with the journal’s open access and licensing policy.
